Stumbled upon a strange bug, glyph of warding casting either via a scroll or spell from the cleric list, causes the game to crash. I'm running Windows XP sp 3. The game comes fully patched 1.42, not sure if that is the issue or not.
I had the same problem. I'm running the game through Crossover for Mac, so I thought that might have been the issue. I just solved it by never casting the spell. In IWD1, enemy casters almost never use it, and when my cleric cast it, the enemies almost never set it off anyway.

Necrobump—I just ran into the same problem, which is unfortunate because I'd planned my yuan-ti strategy around access to it.
Hi everyone , ive got this game and almost at end now i think , well i tried to used this spell and it crashes me into desktop as well , not sure why it does it , im running windows 7 64bits , hope we can find a solution to it :)
Odd. I'm on Win7 Pro 64 bit and ran through the game 7 times in about 6 weeks. Had no issues with that spell. Using an nvidia graphics card (GTX 560Ti). Are your drivers up to date? Do you run the game as admin?
Hi i just tried to run it in Admin and it did work the first two time , but i wanted to make sure and then tried again and crashed two times more haha , im using an nvidia as well ((geforce gt 230m )) and the nvidia site says im with latest driver , ive not had any problems with the game apart from that spell , not sure what could be the problem here but atleast im glad im not the only one :P
Necrobump to see if anyone has had any luck resolving this issue. It seems downloading a patch has worked for some non-GoG users, but I don't know if that would just make things worse with a GoG installation.
I have the same issue. I need to find another drow crowd control method, heh.
