Thought I'd post this in its own thread here since the IGI2 forums are dead and this is about IGI 1.
As many regulars know IGI 1 never appeared here on GOG, which is unfortunate because it's a pretty decent shooter. I suspect the reason it's not here is that the game is bugged on newer systems, and particularly on newer NVIDIA cards - some pretty serious grahpical artifacts render the game nearly unplayable.
Anyway, since GOG doesn't have the game and it doesn't look like it's coming, I broke with my usual habit and checked out the Gamersgate sale, since I knew GamersGate had IGI 1. It is on sale this week for half off, i.e. $5.00 USD. I also discovered that some helpful soul wrote a replacement .exe that fixes these glitches. I was able to run the game on my XP SP3 box w/ GTX 260 on 1920x1080 flawlessly running this replacement executable. The link below is the one I used to obtain this file.

Hope this will prove helpful to some other completionists like me that had given up on finding IGI 1 on GOG but would still like a basically DRM free version to repace a disc or try it for the first time.
