Loving this game (or nostalgic experience) so far. I think I'm at the point in the game where I may need Hypnocure Pro, I have plus and want to upgrade. I select upgrade and it just opens the browser and nothing else. I can't afford to purchase Pro alone.

If you can't afford it, try searching for the Janitor program and earning some coin ;)

Sharp eyes will also save you a lot of coin. Keep in mind what you discover as the game progresses. Scour.
