I am having a persistent issue with Re;Birth 3 where the game crashes during battle. It seems to happen at random, but mostly during boss or Dangerous Enemy fights. The game will seemingly just hang on something during the middle of battle, showing a "Now Loading" message during the crash. I have tried so many things to deal with this and none of them seem to work. I've already done the 4GB patch and setting it to use the NVIDIA GPU in the NVIDIA Control Panel. I've tried closing my browser while running the game. I run the game as administrator. I've whitelisted the game in my antivirus. I've used CodecTweakTool to clean up faulty codecs. I've updated my graphics drivers to the latest versions. Still the game keeps crashing. I'm at a loss. Is this a problem specific to the GOG release? I've talked to some people elsewhere and they don't seem to have ever had this problem when playing via Steam. Do I have to contact IFI? It's such an annoying problem. This is my first actual PC game that isn't an RPGMaker freeware game and it's giving me nothing but trouble.

You said nvidia so which graphic card do you have and which driver for the graphic card do you have?
Mine is currently on 572.70 but i heard it would be better to have 566.36 if your graphic card is the 40 or 30 rtx cards.
Due to stability issues at least if this is any true what i posted in this thread:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/so_for_rtx_40_nvidia_driver_the_56636_version_is_most_preffered_on_win_11

Could be just a problem with the game also.
Anything event viewer says?
I only started playing re;birth 1 recently and that one works fine.
Oh my graphic card is a rtx 4060 8gb.

I do seem to read on steam that there are also people having some crashes with the game.
Is the 4gb patch even needed?
Don't think pcgamingwiki says anything about that.
Have you tried setting max fps to 60 on nividia?

Do I really need to roll back my drivers? They never fixed anything?

Probably not needed as maybe the issues is with the mentioned games in the link Inzoi, but i can't know actually if this could be the cause.
But Batman Arkam City that i played crashed once and i could not figure out the cause, it was only once but i was using always the most recent drivers for nvidia rtx 4060 desktop version.
Maybe the drivers problem only affects these more up to date games like Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, and Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.

I have rolled back my NVIDIA Driver to 566.36, and while I'd like to play a bit longer before rendering a true verdict, I can say that the amount of crashes seems to have decreased significantly.

Wait you gotta tell me does it still crash?
Or does it still crash less frequantly.

Sorry for the very late reply. I've rolled back both my NVIDIA and AMD drivers and have been playing the game for a while. I can safely say by now that it has NOT fixed the problem. Barring one unusual circumstance where the game could be forgiven for crashing, I have had no less than FOUR crashes since. All the same type, either when entering a dungeon, during battle (usually during HDD transformations) or most recently when EXITING a dungeon, the game hangs and throws up a "SORRY" error message. I'm at a loss as to what to do.
