For some reason, I never beat the game when I first played it, so I recently picked it back up to finish it off, and discovered that the game is very sluggish and stutters. Not unplayable, but not as much fun.
Now, I'm not sure how, but I own this the game on both GOG and Steam, so loaded up the Steam version, and it runs perfectly fine. The Steam version is a later version, so I'm assuming one of the patches in the interim fixes the slowdown.
Current Steam version: 2023-4-4
Current GOG version: 7/21/2017 hotfix
Does the GOG version being out-of-date mean the devs aren't updating it here, or is it a GOG-related issue?
