Feel free to add anything... this is stuff I didn't figure out until later that would have been good to know when I started.

Date Gifts - You start with one (Teddy Bear), but how to you get other date gifts? When talking to a girl, go into the store and look for a gift with a pink heart next to it. Buy it and give it to the girl and you'll get a gift in your inventory. You have to click the gift in your inventory to open it, then you need to click the arrow button near the bottom of the inventory to see your date gift slots. You have to move the item into a date gift slot in order to use it on a date.

+4 moves in a date - You can get an extra 4 moves in a date puzzle by making sure all of the girl's hunger bars are full before the date. Go into the store and find the exact amount of food that will completely fill her hunger bar. The yellow star next to food in the store is food that the girl likes, and if you mouse over the food you can see the nutritional value for how much it adds.

Increase your traits - In your HunieBee there's a Traits tab where you can spend your Hunie on increasing your Passion maximum, affection for matches, etc.. These traits can help a lot if you are struggling with completing the puzzles.
Good points. Though, the date gifts and the traits are both mentioned by Kyu in her text messages as the game progresses. So, I think a good tip would be to notice when the messages are sent (a text bubble pops up saying so, and an icon flashes at the top center) and then read those messages in the HuneeBee immediately. They'll make most sense at the time they are received because of the event that triggered the message.

For example, the gifts with hearts next to them is what Kyu referred to the gifts that a character loves, and that Sky Garden will send a gift to you when you give the characters the gifts they love. The profile for each character states what types of gifts each loves, but as Kyu states the HuneeBee automatically indicates it for you, thereby making it dead easy. It'll also be good to notice the difference between gifts that are liked (star) and gifts that are loved (heart). I'm not going to spell it out, people can just play it.

I don't recall any mention of getting extra moves during a date with a character that has been fed beyond half way. That's wonderful for you to point out because I discovered that only by accident. Generally, each character will have 6 of 12 bars in the hunger indicator and that nets 20 moves for the date. As you said, with it completely full at 12/12 then there will be 24 moves. I've also noticed it's gradual, so somewhere between 6 and 12 for the hunger indicator will net somewhere between 20 and 24 moves.

Something else along those lines is the drunk indicator below that. I've noticed when it is completely full at 12/12 then the date starts with 6 Sentiment. Less then 12 drunk gives less than 6 sentiment. Kyu does at least mention in her text messages about when characters are likely to drink, i.e. only at Night. There are exceptions, for example Jesse's hobby is drinking so she'll accept a drink at anytime of the day and anywhere, even the morning after the bedroom puzzle.

This is what I like about the game: it has so many ways for making each puzzle as easy or difficult as I want, both before I begin each puzzle or during. It's perfect to me for applying the self-discipline of my interests instead of being forced with someone else's interest, e.g. finish with a enforced time-limit in other games. There are a limited number of moves, but I can increase that if I want to, both before and during the puzzle, or I can decide to not match any of the Joy tokens if I want to avoid having more moves (much like avoiding matching broken hearts). There's a set score so there's no senseless score-as-much-as-possible or figuring out the one-and-only way of getting a maximum score. And if I really want to make the puzzle stretch out, then I can match the broken hearts to decrease the accumulated score while relying upon matching Joy tokens to continue having enough moves. Definitely seems vary apt for me in applying self-discipline instead of jumping through someone else's hoops, so a lot more fun.

Though as a major tip for bonus characters, I would say read the descriptions for all the gifts in the store. The descriptions are very interesting...There's one in particular that will be very intriguing, or at least it should seem very intriguing. I'm not going to spell that one out either, it would spoil the surprise.

Oh, it might also be worth mentioning that throwing away any of the date gifts that are received from Sky Garden isn't permanent. I've received them from Sky Garden again later when gifting further items bought from the store that the characters loved. The date gifts seem to be random, and the inventory seems to be not big enough. (Throwing away inventory items is possible with the trash can area that appears on the right side of the screen, which is only when an inventory item is picked up to be moved in the HuneeBee.)
Thanks. These are helpful posts.

I want to talk about my experience with gifts on dates. I prefer to give teddy bears, decorations, I really like to give flowers. One day I found a service https://create.vista.com/colors/color-names/peach/ with which I started making cool postcards. I made an original design and the girl was pleasantly surprised, she really liked it. It's true what they say, the best gift is the one you create :)
