Apparently, the GOG version is censored (no confirmation from GOG team that the GOG version is uncensored) So to patch the game to the uncensored, here's the official thread on Steam:

TLDR (copy-pasted):
Grab the patch file from this page: "http://www.teamhijack.com/huniepop/patch/uncensor.html". Put this file in the same location as the "HuniePop.exe" executable ("HuniePop.app" on Mac) and then start the game up.

EDIT: If the website is down/unavailable or you're afraid of virus, you can make the file yourself. In Windows, right-click somewhere on your folder and choose "New => Text Document" to create a new .txt file, remove the .txt extension and name the file "huniepop_uncensored_patch.game".

This game has no character animations so no, nothing like that. If you play this game for the sex scenes, this is not the game for you. This game is a very good and complex match-three game with great characters and surprisingly funny dialogue with a general dating theme and with some sexual images (and sounds) as flavoring. And while there are some full frontal nudity pics in sexual situations and while it is generally rather suggestive, it's not an Illusion game or anything remotely like it.

If and when uncensored, it is going to be an instabuy for me.

So is there confirmation the uncensor patch works on the GOG version? Maybe it's obvious but I'd just like to hear "Yes, I've tested it and it works 100%" before I plop down my simoleons.

There's no "patch", all game files are present as installed. You activate uncensored mode by putting a blank text file named "huniepop_uncensored_patch.game" in the game's directory. Downloading someone else's blank text file is just silly.

"Patch" is a handy short word in this case. Afterall, for some AAA games it's called DLC to just enable a boolean in the game :o)

Anyway, first post edited (and technically, it's not a text file recognized by Windows by default)

The workaround (wouldn't call it a patch since it's just creating an empty text file) seems to work. Although launching the game is somewhat sluggish (like a 10 sec delay at launch) after that.
