For those who haven’t heard. Valve is prepping to remove HuniePop from Steam unless any and all sexual content that violates their guidelines are censored or edited out of the game….. Which they’ve already done.

Go over to the community wishlist under feature. you’ll see over 41K people want uncensored version of games. that’s a pretty high number for the community wishlist. GOG you can take this opportunity, and all you really have to do is nothing. Funny if you think about it.

Will GOG show the world they are made of steel, lets hope.

I am not 100% on this but I believe that maybe hard for them due to various laws in countries that they offer games in. So unless people want more regional restricted games, it's not likely to happen. Now that said I do think GOG could be more open to at least censored versions of these games like the version of Hunnie Pop they currently offer and devs can offer those wanting the full naughtiness a uncesored patch.

But more adult entertainment would be nice, hell GOG could even revive their DRM Free movies section by making deals with such labels as Vinegar Syndrome, Panik House and Something Weird Video and the like who offfer more "risque" films typically from the 70's-early 1980's and don't give a rats ass about DRM. I don't doubt that folks here wouldn't jump at such delightful sleaze as Japan's 1973's sexploitation action flick Sex and Fury starring Reiko Ike and Swedish beauty and star of Thriller a Cruel Picture Christina Lindburg, the many classics of Japanese Pinky Violence sub genre like Female Yakuza Tale - Inquisition & Torture and Girl Boss or classic american sexsploitation sleaze like The Suckers(a previously lost but recently rediscovered Sexsploitation version of The Most Dangerous Game), 1 Milllion AC/DC, Nudie Cuties like Nude on the Moon, Kiss Me Quick and Orgy of the Dead or even the legendary Sexsploitation Sci-fi Spoof Flesh Gordon. Sleazy films but not really porn. Though I know Vinegar Syndrome also sells porn chique era porn films(the 1970's to early 80's stuff when porn films were actual films just with hardcore scenes)
be kind of cool. we'll see how this turns outs.
with the recent of GOG seeling more VN. looks like they do have some balls.
GOG on twitter: "Our plans are to bring "All Ages" versions to http://GOG.COM . But we don't plan to block or interfere with compatibility for any additional content the devs want to make available on their end."

They should make a separate store for Mature Adult games. They could call it MAGOG.
Actually, since this attack on erotic games, Valve has recently announced that they intend to let users decide what kind of content they want to buy. This would imply that they're backing off of policing which games are allowed on their platform, meaning that erotic games would become available (in their uncensored format) on Steam.

There's a big market for these games. If Steam becomes the only mainstream distribution platform to offer them, it'll also get pretty much all of their sales.

Shame that GOG missed the opportunity.
Just wanna mention. I am from Germany and I cannot even buy the game on steam without any tricks. Dont know where I will end up getting it just wanted to clarify that it might not be as simple as you think it is. Sure they coud sell a censored version in germany only and all but still. Dont know what laws they have in Poland. You should consider that, too! As far as I can tell Poland is a really conservative country. I am quite dazzled as to why sex games are ok on steam (a company within one of the most conservative countries when it comes to stuff like this) and not ok in germany (where you see sex shop commercials during the day in TV and most people are way more accepting of that stuff). I know it's child protection laws, but common. Every 10 year old can access porn websites for free.

In principle I agree, but I would maybe suggest to create a separate corner for 'adult games'. Just to keep the site from being flooded by raunchy titles.

Btw. there are a lot of movies, books etc. which some people might also want to have DRM free. And we already have a separate 'movie' corner, although the movies there are a bit lackluster.
Now that uncut games are being released, maybe time to release UNRATED versions for these 2?
