The first time the red lightbulb appears, I shoot at it, the door to the core opens and I shoot the core. The second time there are two lightbulbs but three doors. When I shoot the left-most, the left-most door opens. When I shoot the right-most, the right-most door opens. When I shoot both, both doors open. But how do I open the middle door?

You have to open the core a total of 4 times. The pattern is first time 1 bulb comes out, 2nd and 3rd time 2 bulbs come out and the 4th time 3 bulbs come out. When you get to the point where 3 doors block the core 3 red lights will show up. 1 from both the top and bottom and 1 from the right side of the screen just above the core.

In attach1 is the initial situation after hitting the core after only one lightbulb has shown up. There are three doors. In attach2 I have lit both the two bulbs and the left and the right door have opened, but there's still the center door. What do I have to do in this situation?

From what you say it sounds like there should only be two doors, though.

Well from what I can tell based on those images you have encountered a bug. That middle door is suppose to go away after the first core hit but for some reason has come back out. If exiting the game and reloading doesn't work I would suggest contacting the makers through their website http://sumomgames.com/ or try reinstalling the game to see if that works. I'm also assuming you have tried shooting through that middle door after getting the other 2 open? If not try that to see if it is just a small graphic error. But yea that door is not suppose to be there like that.

Sorry but that's about all the help I can offer on this. Hope you are able to get it fixed.

Thanks for the help!

It indeed seems like a bug, but luckily I found an easy way around. If I shoot at the core the second time the single bulb appears, then only two doors are blocking the way in the two-bulb phase. So, the first time the single bulb appears, just don't do anything.

I have reported this to the developer.

That's awesome you were able to find a work around. Just out of curiosity what weapon were you using to attack the bulb and core? I was using the Lightning gun myself. I wonder if it's some bug related to a specific gun and possible for someone else to reproduce.

I was using the lighting gun too. I also tried with the energy gun. The only special thing I can think of is I still have two levels completely unexplored. Maybe that's screwing it up somehow... But they will probably sort it out quicker than we can. : ) Thanks for helping confirm this.
The developer confirmed it as a bug. The issue actually was that I was shooting at the bulb and the core at the same time, not what I said earlier. Shooting first the bulb and then the core solved it. They said it'll be fixed in a patch.

Interesting. That's cool they already pinpointed the problem.
hmm, I can not reproduce that the second door (single light bulb) stays down if you just don't shoot the single light bulb the first time.

I can say for sure, however, that immediately after shooting the core you don't see that the second door keeps down (only the first and third are up), you can restart the level because then it stays broken.

And I *think* firing the single bulb with the same "shot" as the core (e.g. a lightning gun beam without releasing your fire button) helps keeping that second door down

Yeah, I was wrong about that as I explained in the last post. Just don't shoot at them at the same time and you're fine. : )
