I'm playing on normal and apparently it is too hard for me. Ican't kill the boss (the Sheriff) in level nine and I'm not able to get most of the golden eggs in anything beyond level 5 (I have to concentrate so hard to survive that I simply miss most of them).

So how hard is this game on easy? Will it make a great difference or do I just need less eggs and money to unlock new weapons and equipment?

Right now I hesitate to try, because I don't want to loose my progress. But on the other hand, I think I can't get any further on normal difficulty.
