While “walking” to another house, the screen is always showing the orignal state – full of trash, dirty, with old furniture etc. I’d really appreciate when instead the actual state could be showed, especially whenever I return to my office it is quite disappointing to sense you’d have to start all over, instead of looking forward to that little gem of mine.

This. Since the game now has the facilities to take pictures, it shouldn't be too hard to have it do so on request before the job is completed, and then use one of those pictures as your splash/loading image.
