I just installed the updated game over my old and after trying to run it, it keeps crashing for me.

I thought that I try a fresh install first but I want to keep my progress. Can somebody tell me where the data is saved?
It doesn't use a saves.dat as HM1 did.

For me, it looks like they're saved under: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\HotlineMiami2

Duh, sorry. You are right. I've only checked the games folder.
