There seems to be, for a lack of better words, an "invisible wall" that simply refuses to allow my mouse pointer to hover over the last box within the puzzle tab. Not sure if this is a problem with the game, or my mouse, but I'm not running into this problem outside of the game, and I don't seem to be experiencing any sort of restriction with the aiming in the gameplay itself.

I don't think I had that problem. I think if you put the piece close enough to a square (so that the square outline at least glows), it'll 'snap' into place after a certain amount of time (sometimes over a minute!).

I thought that myself, unfortunately, even when dragging the piece as close as I can to the box, it still does not make enough contact to cause the outline to glow, rendering me unable to place the piece. Erm, just occurred to me, I think I was a tad vague during the original post, I feel I should clarify that my mouse pointer, and a piece I am dragging for that matter, do not reach past the middle of the second to last piece.

Upon further attempts, I have found that along with not being able to even touch the far right side of the puzzle screen, and puzzle pieces that have generated on that side, that there is a chance the game will not even register the proper piece as having been placed.

Hmm, I guess you'll have to contact the developers and let them know, either on the Steam forums, @HotlineMiami on Twitter, or P.M. Breedlove, who I think works for Devolver Digital:

Fantastic Idea, upon further inspection of the devs Twitter account, I found a support email to report problems to, and have since received a very prompt and helpful response. I probably should have gathered more information before rushing to make a post, thank you for the responses, however.

Well, the email response said it would be addressed in the tonights update, but I have also received a response asking me what resolution I am running the game at, so that could also have something to do with it. All we can do for now it seems is wait on the update, or fiddle with resolutions, if that has something to do with it.

EDIT: It was suggested to me that I try my resolution at 1280, and that has fixed it, happy hunting.

Thanks, changed the resolution and it worked! Got everything but the alligator mask now.
