Yeah finaly an update ... but i can't play with the new version =/

When i tried to launch the game (with launcher ,check update and language only) a windows open with this :

"Unable to start the program because it lacks OpenAL32.dll on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

i've installed the game twice and nothing changed ,always the same problem

I found this on the net: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenAL
My problem is related to this program?

I've been having the exact same problem all day.
Found some links to dodgy looking sites offering to fix my "dll problem,"
but I'd rather not risk it.
Link removed until I find something more trustworthy.

I had the same issue and this solution still worked.

Thanks, guys. :D
This solution worked for me as well. Thanks!
Yesterday I installed Hotline Miami and no problem what so ever to start the game. Today I reinstalled my laptop and had the same error message. But after installing FEZ the error for Hotline Miami was gone and the game just started.

Not OpenAL, but OpenTK is present in FEZ...strange, but it works haha
There somethig funny running the updated version. The engine is different: The original is made with GameMaker Studio, while the update uses Sony's PhyreEngine. I think that's why the Abstraction Games logo appears too because it has the feel of the PS3 and Vita's port and hence it needs OpenAL to run.

It feels different, but they made a game even better.
I just downloaded the game, which I purchased from GOG in mid-May. I cannot play it, though, because every time I try to open it I get a message: "YoYo 70 has quit unexpectedly". I'm not well-versed in computers, so I have no idea what this means. Someone please help!
