JudasIscariot: Link removed until I find something more trustworthy.

DeMignon: This one should be trustworthy enough ;-)

I just ran into the same fun with OpenAL trying to get Futuremark's 3DMark06 to run again with Win 8.1 64-bit. FOR EVERYONE you want the OpenAL installer DAlancool linked to ( http://support.focus-home.fr/oalinst.exe ) because it's actually newer version (2.1.0.0) than the one commonly linked to for instance DeMignon (2.0.7.0) - or at least the installer is newer (check Properties > Details on the oainst.exe).

2.0.7.0 failed, 2.1.0.0 worked. So if you can DeMignon you may want to update the one offered from the gog support link. Hope this helps others.

Thanks for the info, it's definitely helpful for others! Unfortunately I've no access to GOG's file server, but if JudasIscariot reads this, he might be able to upload a newer version.
Just came across this problem and after seeing a few links to different OpenAL installer here and in Steam I've seen that there's a seemingly official OpenAL website: https://www.openal.org/

Any problem with that? Seems legit.

Anyway, I don't know why this isn't part of the GOG installation. I'm using Galaxy (or just GOG installers for that matter) because I don't want to deal with libraries and stuff.
Thank you DAlancole, I just got fixed an oooooooold Stubbs the Zombie problem thanks to that OpenAL32.dll installer. :-)

Diwydiant: Hello, dear friends. I've got the same issue, and I wondered if someone had found a solution.

Is JudasIscariot's link trustworthy ?

Thank you so much in advance, my dear friends.
