Every time I launch the game I get the error

"Error defining an external function"

Sometimes I can skip it without it closing the game, but then the game runs without any music at all, but still plays sound effects.

I reported the same thing to Devolver and they said a patch is inbound for sometime tomorrow, dude

same bummer here.

upd: actually a false call - working just fine after a reboot
