Hi,

I'm a lefty so I'm trying to switch the buttons to the right side of the keyboard.
I was able to remap the move buttons in the menu, but only to letters. When using [P] [L] [;] and ['], the last two would register in the menu, but not actually function ingame. So I'm bound to using [I] [J] [K] and [L] instead.

That wouldn't be a huge problem by itself, but unfortunately I can't change the look and finish commands, which are bound to the SHIFT and SPACE key by default. Regarding the shift key, only the LEFT shift key actually functions. So remapping the move buttons becomes useless, as I'm still bound to the vicinity of that left shift. I wondered if I could manually edit some .dat file, as others were advised in threads about this subject, but couldn't find any such file.

Am I missing something, here? Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately you can't rebind the other keys as of now. Key binding was always a weak spot of the game and also buggy. At release time there wasn't re-binding at all and after a certain update they added the option to rebind at least the moving keys.

There might be a hack, but it's not obvious, as key-binding seems to be hard-wired and the configuration is rather cryptic.

If you desperatly need it, you can always use a 3rd party mapping tool like autohotkey or alternatively you could try using a game pad.

Ah, that's too bad. Guess I'll pick up a gamepad someday and get back to this game.
Thanks for the answer!

Use Autohotkey or Glovepie to be able to rebind keys on any game. It does work with this one to rebind SHIFT and SPACE.
