So I've been replaying Hotline Miami again and I noticed a bug with the sound of the double barrel shotgun.

When an enemy holds this weapon the sound it plays is that of the other shotgun ( the one with six shells) instead of the actual double barrel sound. When I'm holding the weapon it plays the correct sound. I looked up on the Hotline Miami wiki and it says that the problem's been fixed.

I do have the game on Steam as well and it seems that the issue is not present there - the weapon plays the correct sound but on the GOG version it's bugged. It's not a big deal but it's still kind of annoying especially when the Steam version doesn't seem to have that issue.

I'm also running the updated version of the game, not the original.

Any help/solution would be appreciated!

I'm not 100% sure but I think the original and updated versions are mixed up on GOG. The "original" version has more options in-game.

Hmm interesting.. Could be that then.

I am running the Updated version. I haven't even tried the Original because from what I know the Updated seems to be the better version as it's supposed to be more stable. I might give the Original version a try.

Thanks!
