So the game crashes every time I kill the bum and get mission complete in the metro stage, first stage of the game. I don't get a error message or anything, it just crash to windows. Doesn't make a difference if it is windowed or full screen nor what resolution it is. I have looked around for some help but nothing so far have fixed this. If anyone have any ides what to do or need some more info I'd be happy.

I had the same problem and this solved it. Perhaps try and set security to Full Control for HotlineGL.exe as well... I actually did for all the exe files and haven't had the problem after that.

Yes I tried that. none of the solutions helped, not together and not by themselves.
