Game looks awesome, but 2 questions:

1) Does it run reliably in Linux?

2) Have they improved the PC optimization since this review back in August?
On ProtonDB it is Bronze rated

It's a bit all over the place with some saying it works fine in Linux and others saying it needs some tweaks to saying it doesn't work at all.

I'm going to test it myself but I am in the middle of building a new computer so I'm waiting until that is finished (Wednesday or Thursday this week) before I try.
I notice it's gone up to silver in the last 2 weeks. Might be coincidence but we've just got kernel 5.9 and nvidia have released properly customised drivers for it.

That's good to know, thanks. Given its popularity, I would imagine it is a high priority for Proton/Wine/DXVK, so I doubt a good level of performance will take too long.
For Linux/Wine players who were experiencing the bug where movement is slowed down and cutscene audio desyncs, there's now a Proton variant that includes a workaround.

Version I'm using: https://github.com/Kron4ek/Wine-Builds/releases/tag/6.3-proton-exp ('Proton 6.3 experimental branch (compiled from 2bde7d5)')
Bought this the other day when it went on sale and installed it using Lutris on my Debian machine. It runs, but the frame rate is quite poor. The benchmark flythrough averages 10 FPS with a peak of 24 FPS. (This machine is no slouch -- 6-core/12-thread Core i7, GTX-1070 Ti.)

It's using the runner 'lutris-fshack-6.14-3'. 'fshack' means full-screen hack; it's unclear which games need it. There are newer runners available: 'lutris-ge-6.16.1' and 'lutris-ge-lol-6.16.2'. 'lol' builds apparently are intended for use only with League of Legends. 'ge' appears to stand for Glorious Eggroll, whatever that signifies. Again, it's unclear which variants one should try.

Suggestions welcome.

GloriousEggroll is a person who releases customised Wine builds with some Proton patches included. I think these are the pertinent release notes: https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/wine-ge-custom/releases
