When I start the game I can play it perfectly fine with no crashes or performance issues whatsoever.
When I close the game and then restart it, it becomes totally unplayable. Every few seconds, it completely freezes and locks up. I've played around with the graphics settings and I cant seem to find what's causing it. And these aren't just fps drops, the game completely freezes every few seconds, and it starts happening the moment I open the game as it even affects the main menu.
I ran the in game benchmark and the CPU fps chart clearly shows the performance dips. It's like the CPU just stalls every 3 seconds or so. The only thing I can do to fix this problem is completely restarting my computer.
Has anyone run into this issue before? I know this game has had a bunch of performance issues since launch but I haven't been following it at all and just recently bought in the sale. My specs are in the screen shot
