Does anyone know if the GoG version works with Mods?

For context: I'm using the Vortex mod installer, but no matter how I tell it to link the mods, it doesn't seem like they take any effect.

Anyone know how? Or does it just not accept mods?


Edit: Figured it out. Had to run the game from the .exe file within the install folder, not from the GoG launcher or the Desktop shortcut.

install manually, i tried with vortex and it said it worked but it didn't, so i just downloaded manually and put it in the correct file folder, worked fine.

^ What, specifically, is the "correct file folder."
