Hello
Played some HZD earlier in 1.10, used to start up in a second or two into the main menu.
Installed 1.11
Now on bootup, I'm stuck on the loading screen with a spinner in the bottom left ...
Sometimes I see a crash handler in task manager, sometimes not.

Tried repairing.
Tried re-installing completely.
Updated drivers.
Disabled Nvidia overlay.
installed VS C++ Redistributables 2015
Tried running as admin.
Tried disabling fullscreen opt.
Tried compatibility modes.
I let it sit there for about 5 minutes thinking maybe that new compile shaders take a while ... but alas, wasn't it.

Still only see a black loading screen and never get to the main menu on bootup.
Does anyone know how to roll back to 1.10?

I reinstalled and it worked. I also removed any mods present in the directory. Most likely it is the mods are the culprit for me. Those definitely will mess it up especially if you used the skip intro ones and possibly any ones that patch models since the 1.11 patch was like 5GB it is also patching some content in the bin files.
Looks like the mods are causing it, uninstalled mine and it works.

The patch doesn't do anything I want so I am reinstalling 1.10 using the offline installer I kept.

Edit: Some people say to uninstall mods for the first launch, then you can close and reinstall the mods again, haven't tested it though as I'm happy with 1.10.

Fantastic, thank you! That was it.
I forgot I even had mods (skip intro cutscenes) .. and odd that full re-install didn't nuke that.

GG off I go hunting some robot dinosaurs.
