After so long, the one game we all longed to play and never did has re-released on GOG.com! It's called Homeworld: Emergence (because of the copyright issues over Cataclysm), but it's here at last!

NOTE: D3D mode doesn't work, it causes menu lag. You have to use OpenGL mode to get lag free menus (I'm not sure about the 3DFX mode, haven't used it).
Does it have windowed mode?

Just like Homeworld Classic, yes. It needs a shortcut flag to be added, the best way to get the list is to add a wrong tag (eg /hahahafakeflag) and you'll get the list :)
I would expect the grapics to be fixed before buying it - I still have it on disk, so no point buying it unless it's been fixed.

GOG does not fix most bugs. They simply get the game, make a few tweaks (like installing patches and other things) and release it. Things like the D3D menu lag is not something GOG can fix, as the issue is with Windows 8 and 10.
So does this mean Source code has been found???

Unfortunately, signs so far point to "no".

I do hope eventually someone comes forward with it, but until then, any attempt at remaking it or otherwise patching it will have to be done from scratch. Either way, would be nice.
