When the game first came out, X-Input on my F510 seemed to work except for opening the inventory. D-Input, thankfully, worked perfectly for some reason. One of the new patches was supposed to fix the inventory issue with X-Input, but that still doesn't work and if anything the X-Input mode seems to be even worse than before. I think D-Input still works fine though, but I haven't really tested it. Trying to play with X-Input has me constantly trying to super dash and the game is completely unplayable. When I'm not being forced to super dash, the inventory thing still doesn't work.

I'm just wondering how all of these issues are happening. I've never seen another game not work just as well with a Logitech controller in X-Input mode as with a 360 controller. For some reason, this game is an exception.

And before someone points it out, yes, the patch notes technically only mentioned the F310, but I would think the F310, F510, and F710 would all work equally well. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Try x360ce. You can adjust the trigger inputs so that neither being pushed is neutral instead of full negative. The way the game is interpreting your Xinput right now, Ltrigger or right trigger gives your trigger absolute as half way, and both are full positive. Neither is full negative instead of the l trigger going from zero to full negative.

EDIT: It is a workaround, but you can at least play without having to switch your controller from xinput to Dinput, which I know is an inconvenience.

Aha! I have one of those pads too and I was wondering what was wrong.

However I wound up just setting up my keyboard for it, and frankly prefer keyboard for this game.

I don't even use a mechanical keyboard, but for this game it might work better. I'm okay with my scissor keys though.

I disagree on that one, at certain point you will be dodging attacks while charging your nail for big hit while jumping, im not familiar with the keyboard layout but i can tell you will regret your decision more sooner than later...

Hrmm, could be, but I'm not too worried about that. I used to play a lot of old emulated games that required that type of stuff on keyboard.

I used to think like you, I even played fighting games using the keyboard. Then I realized I was self limiting my self. There´s different controllers for different types of games and some are much more enjoyable played the way you are supposed to.
Is not the same play missile command using the track ball in an arcade than trying to use the arrow keys or the mouse. The investment is well worth imo.
