Can not get this to work at all, have tried all the settings available ran it with every service pack. It just disappears after you press play and your whole computer messes up need to end its process in task manager and then restart explorer.exe to even get my computer to work again. Amazing game but this does not work right now.

Hi,

could you just wait for 3-4 minutes and see what happens after you start it? At the beginning I thought the game does not start and my desktop also stopped working. But after I waited some time the game started. After quitting the desktop was still unusable.

I've had the same problem! It freezes all my other programs from being selected and sometimes even task manager doesn't work!

Would really love to be able to play this game :(

I got the same problem. Every single programm gets locked so it does that lovely "ding"-Sound when you try to click it. I've got a very similar problem with Screamer 4x4 but those are the only two I can't get to work. It's still anoying though! ;)

Hello there! I had the same problem as you until I went into the IPXWrapper Configuration. From there I set the Primary Interface to Wildcard Interface and it booted up just fine after that. I hope it works for you too. :)

Unfortunately, I tried all the solution presented in the Hog of War subforum and it doesn't work.

IPXconfig doesn't change a thing, DEP setting are useless, and so on. It simply doesn't work. Well actually not really : The process start : I see it running in the Task manager. it just doesn't show up.

Please GoG, do something.

Same here. I am using Windows Xp on my desktop (and have no idea how to do any "IPXconfi") and Windows 8 on my laptop.

I asked the Customer service. For me, it's simply because I'm running on Windows 10. Hogs of War simply isn't working with this OS. It was sent to the long list of game available on gog that are not supported by Windows 10, such as War40k Chaos Gate.

We can just hope for a patch. In the mean time, it's just hopeless.

its a shame, wen i hear this game was on gog i come and get it in like 2 minutes after knowing. and then it does not work. my childhood playing this game with my budys... you even can put it in spanish like i played wen i was litle.. i hope they patch it up some day
