Hi, I often play games on my Steam Controller, my TV with my Steam Link or by streaming games to my laptop from my main PC via steam. This is all stuff I can do with non steam games which is what I personally opt for, but I still take advantage of Steams services.

The problem is that the GOG version of Hob crashes if it's run through Steam. So I can't use my controller to play the game. Or play the game in bed (which was my original plan).

Is there any way this can be fixed? This is the first game I've ever had this problem with.

Instead of use hob.exe try to use gog(add gog to steam), when u are in gog lauch hob. I use steam controller and that works.

That's crafty as hell, I'll give that a shot.

If you want to launch it directly, you can use the launcher .exe file rather than hob.exe. That worked for me using Nvidia Gamestream. It still brings up the options window at the start rather than straight into the game.

I can't believe this works... My Switch Controller didn't fully work for Hob with x360ce (triggers weren't recognized in game: I couldn't run) but there's built-in support for that controller in Steam so this solved my issues
