After the work of VIP, Heroes Chronicles, currently has English, Polish, Spanish, and Russian. The Spanish one is so well done that even the original video had a spanish doublage right now. Wonderful work !! There used to be German version loose files translated by fans as well, but never the french one. So now, I'm gonna work together with VIP to produce one for the french community, hopefully to be on par with the Spanish version. I'd like to have some help. if you have talent in doublage or have already some chapters translated, let's keep them here for easy reference .

People like Rem here have already finished some translation, but I cannot contact him right now for I cannot even register a new account in Archangel Castle... Please spread the word so that we can have all hands gathered here to have the french version done asap.

Ici C'est La chronologie de la saga Heroes of Might and Magic - version NWC très bien fait sur Archangel Castle, Il y a pas mal des infos sur les noms et objects que on peut faire des reference.

HeroesGL aka Heroes GL Arapper mod (Heroes3GL) by Verok is Heroes Chronicles compatible HD mod.
Just some clarification info that i know. There was some of Chapters localised to some languages, two Free DLC ones never been localised as i know to any language officially (or maybe chinese?). 6 chapters been on Polish and Russian officillay.
As i know not all of 6 been on FRE or GER.

But then after this years there was custom convertions to Heroes 3 custom campaigns. Localised in advance than official. Still not sure which language, which got full localisation (except PL and RuRU that i know). Rus and PL got many alternate unrelated repacks as 8in1 or custom campaigns. 8in1 in Polish with some own Pre-Launcher and HD hack included (by who?).

So its interesting what work goes there. In both as HD mod (interes is it related to HeroesGL?) and as full translation.

Redump PC set - H eg on Internet Archive (Google or Registration reauired, probably ©️ removed for now) have such discs listed here + russian incorrectly as Khroniki in K set.
Redump not 100% accurate and in fact 50% accuracy for languages (even Eng pressense on localised editions or localisations if bundled with Eng eg for Japan/Asia regions). Still can be used as reference... or language files download source (as lart of discs).

Polish Anthology probably have full Eng version as well (50/50).

Free Chapters was unofficially translated to some languages. Including asncustom campaigns. But majority of links long dead. Custom converts, localisations.
There is discs and its at least easy to find (but not the possible patches for it and localised files, they if exist are LostMedia).

Also i recommend to download previous GOG Heroes Chronicles build. 8in1 build. It is available by "indirect direct" link not from Library.
Look to GOGDB and its links to GOG API and swap digits for regular Chapter (any*) or Heroes3 download with digits from GOG API.

GOG 8in1 make shared files as shared Data folder and 8 exes near it in one installation.

Je viens de tomber sur ce post, il se trouve que j'ai justement une version physique sur CD d'origine de "Heroes Chronicles - Conquest of the Underworld" EN FRANCAIS! Avec les textes et les doublages vidéo.
Malgré le temps, aucun fichier ne semble endommagé. J'ai fait toute la campagne pour en être certain (tu parles d'une excuse), sur un vieux PC portable encore sur Windows XP SP2 (Pas testé sur une version de windows récente par contre).
Est-ce que ça pourrait aider?

Bien sûr que oui !!! ça pourrait aider énormément! Si vous avez le photo de la boîte pouvez-vous vérifier comment il a appeler le titre, Comme Conquête des Enfers ?

On va unir tous les ressources, et on va utiliser tous que on a, et traduire les les restes, pour la version ultime ! VIP a aussi confirmer que il y a définitivement la version française, ça c'est sûr, je vais les traquer aussi, et pour les fichiers original oui bien sûr on a besoins de tous les CD originales ;-) Hi QWEEDDYZ, I'm so sorry that due to VPN issues I was not able to reply in time. I've been searching for the HeroesGL rapper mod but I have not been able to find anything french related, nor of other languages except Polish and Russian. Probably I was not in the right place? Could you share some more light as of where are those old forum that they used to share custom campaigns? I would be really happy to find some previous works so that we don't have to hard translate everything from scratch. Thx in advance !!

As for french. Idk much about fan-made translations or conversions into custom campaign files for Heroes 3 Complete. I saw many russian and polish unrelated conversions and two Free-DLC Chapters translation. I can say there 100% was differ unrelated PL and RUS translations of that Free Chapters (two of eight Chapters was free and officially wasnt translated to Multi5). High chance once it was translated already to some else language VF and Deu likely too. But i doubt it is easy to find now after decades of original releases.

The only what can be find more easily is Retail CDs on French. Redump PC set - H. eg on Internet Archive (log-in with Google account to download).
Some localised versions can be on differ letter parts.

You can download there cue file - its name is what you need to find in zip format in redump set. Heroes Chronicles (Europe) (Multi5) zip or something like that.

Probably other EU editions are Multi5 too. Redump not accurate in available language's (eg missing EN in some EN+FR for example Need For Speed older titles are multiple languages in every region every have EN and FR and additional ones are differ by region).

Torrent-tracker Underground-Gamer - oldest and rarest content shared there - are still online. Bjt it is more close limited accessible than in old days. Website are still online with only one main page telling it is closed. Website in fact are closed. Tracker are online. Its just DB of torrents almost not shared to everyone. Maybe i can try contact one person who have access to its torrents. If you need. Rutracker PC Games section current admin have access to it. If you have rutracker account you can try ask him yourself.

There is Torrminatorr where huge collection of legacy Scene releases spread across the forum (better use search by posts instead of topics searching).
Redump set store clear and most exact disc copies, but in terms of translation files its enough to get Scene cracked iso.

I allow myself repeat also info about Heroes Chronicles first (of two) GOG offline build where 8 Chapters are bundled in one Data folder + 8 exe's.

Je suis bien content que vous vous engagiez dans cette tâche. Chronicles, c'est le seul jeu HoMM (dérivé oui, mais jeu HoMM quand même) qui n'a jamais été traduit en français officiellement, y compris HoMM8 à venir. Je ne possède pas de grandes capacités techniques et je suis linguiste sans pour autant être traducteur chevronné. Si je peut-être de quelque aide, suffit de me signaler.
