I have just purchased HoMM3. However, when I tried to launch the game, it says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I am using Windows 10.

Please Help!

Run the game as administrator and in compatibility mode for WinXP SP3.

I think I just solved the issue, it was just a problem with my hardware driver XD. Thanks anyways :).

The message is pretty generic, so the cause of your problem need not be same as the OP's.

Did you try updating your graphics card driver?

When I try to launch the game, the computer's screen is reducing to a smaller format and then the game is crashing with the message : " A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Are you running the game in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3 and as administrator? Have you tried downloading the HD mod and using its no-CD function?
