i am looking for the name of this character/avatar. can anyone help? i want to find out what his specialty is & if he is still in the game.

if his specialty is chain lightning, i want to use him for one of my avatars with the map editor. but i am having trouble finding him.

That's an alternate image for Yog (Barbarian). It only appears in the Shadow of Death campaign titled "Birth of a Barbarian", while everywhere else you get his regular image. Source.

His specialty are always Cyclopes/Cyclops Kings.

Just pick Solmyr and change his portrait in Hero Properties. But if you want to change the portrait permanently (in all campaigns, random maps and scenarios without custom portrait changes), then map/campaign editor is not enough.
