I have HoMM3 Complete and played through most of RoE long ago. Loved the game, but just never got through all of it, as well as even getting to the other expansions. Decided to download it again and give it a try, but this time also installed Horn of the Abyss, as well, as I hear great things about it on what it adds.
Which leads to my next question, but I can already tell HotA is it's own campaign, I actually have to switch between HoMM3 Complete and HotA. So does that mean any of the changes from HotA is strictly for only that expansion? Nothing is added to Complete?
Not complaining, just clarifying. I know HoMM3 HD (which comes with HotA) already adds new things in itself, but was just wondering if HotA added anything to the complete games/expansions.
Also, is it recommended to play HotA after going through RoE, AB & SoD in regards to story? Or does it not matter?
