I have not let it load the actual game yet, I just bought it and tried to load it and its starting and stopping 1 second of stuff at a time "audio too" its skipping and terrible. Its 100% unplayable at the moment. I already set it to compatibility for xp 3rd service pack, and administrator. No change.

What's your OS?

You could try the HD mod and see if that helps:

hi,

When i first played homm3 on windows 7 the mouse was choppy and I couldn't even play at all.

But then I put it too "windows compatibility mode windows xp service pack 2"

Now the mouse works fine and the music does too~

IF it's windows that might be the problem.
