Both I and my son use Heroes of Might and Magic IIII on our vista laptops. It constantly crashes even when run as administrator. These crashes randomly. HELP

If you still have problems, and your laptop is multi core, try setting affinity to a single core to see if that makes a difference.

If running on a single core solves the problem you can install software to make it easier - for AMD cpus use the AMD dual core optimizer, for Intel cpus something like Runfirst works well
