So, unlike some others who seem to be having issues with HoMM4 on Windows 10, I can get the game to launch and I can see it (no black screen anymore, though it did do that to me the first two times I tried to boot up). Instead, my problem is that the game won't play full screen. It seems perpetually stuck in windowed mode, with an annoying grey status bar at the top (which includes a "file" category with options like "new game," "save game," and "exit"). Is there any way to get this game to run full screen?

Try running it through DxWind anyway.

Okay, I have downloaded DxWind. How do I run HoMM4 with it?

Import the game with it, and once it's in the list, right-click -> Run.
Thanks! I was actually able to figure out how to get it working without DxWind, but now I know how to use it if I should ever need to!

hey man could you tell me how you made it work
Verok's GL wrapper works very well. Should still be a link to it in the pinned topic.
