Hey guys,

I let Gog Galaxy "update" my existing installation of HoMM3. My saves are intact but my campaign progress seems to be reset. That is, when I click on new campaign all of the higher tier campaigns are locked and the check marks on the lower tier ones are gone. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is there any way to restore it other than replaying them?

This was always the case with the original HoMM 3. Clicking "New Campaign" you start from the very beginning. Instead of clicking "New Campaign" you have to load a saved game.

Ah! OK, that proved to be the case. I hacked my way through the current scenario from my last save and was indeed able to continue.

When it offers you the chance to save at the end of a map, make sure you take it (and make it a unique save). Load that save to load up the clear progress as you make your way through the various campaign sequences.
