I have downloaded the GOG dosbox version of HOMM2 on two PC computers. One is running win7 and the other one is running win vista. The game work just fine.

After browsing the web its quite clear that the dos version wont work online - so right now I am trying to get it working through LAN.

How do I do?

Under the start menu - there is a multiplayer launch of the game, giving me three options:

-Start Single Player Game
-Start Network Client Game
-Start Network Host Game

QUESTION: What do I chose for the two computers?

After launching the game, I have the following options for multiplayer:
-Hotseat - NOT THIS ONE
-Network: Giving the following: Netbios
-Modem - NOT THIS ONE
-Direct connect:

QUESTION: What do I chose?

Would very much a appreciate if anyone could give me a step-by-step guide. I cant get this working.
