I guess this is a noob questions but I just bought Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Gold and I can't run it. I am on a Windows 7 Pro 64bit and get the following message while running heroes2.exe :

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

I've read that I need to use dosbox with this game, but I have looked around and have not found any useful help on how to actually run the game using it. Would it be possible to have some sort of howto with steps. Thanks and good day

You shouldn't run the game directly, but use the shortcut (either on desktop or in Menu Start) instead.

Wow, as simple as that, note to self, try the start menu instead of going directly to the .exe.

Thanks alot!
