hi,

i got a problem after updating to win11: heroes 3 starts not in 4:3 as before with win10, but in widescreen... and it looks not very good in my eyes.

i tried the typical solutions with the compatibility settings and scaling options in the intel control panel: the only thing that worked for me is to manually crop the width from 100 to 0 and simulating a 4:3 panel.

that's a pretty bad solution however since you can't switch between the game and windows anymore without changing the settings every time.

is there a permanent solution? i'm kinda bewildered by the error anyways, thanks for any help!
Keep Aspect ratio in video driver. In display if there is aspect/scaling options there.
Restore exe properties to default.
unfortunately there are no scaling options in "video", only in "display"

any other suggestions?

i have intel uhd graphics 605, driver version 31.0.101.2112
Oh yeah. I forgot tell one step. Lower Desktop resolution, better to 4:3 (1024x768). Options should appear in driver settings and on RMB click on Desktop.
All video drivers work same here, i dont know why.
sorry, doesn't work. and i don't want to change something every time i start up heroes, i just want it the way it was before :(
Sry cant help more. They change it hide somewhere more. As i can see here
http://duckduckgo.com/?q=keep+aspect+ratio+intel+driver
But Intel resources not availqble for me (im from RUS and Intel decide to completely block us from support info even for consumer products). There is articles or forum threads "how adjust scaling/aspect in new Command Center" - but i cant open it.
On non-intel link someone suggest install legacy driver (but that ptobably not work for Win11 or new hardware).

Windows 11 maybe have that option too? Somewhere in Settings.

As for Intel+Nvidia - this options work from Intel to Nvidia driver and not present on NV Control Panel.

You need change Desktop resolution once. After adjust scaling options change Desktop back/any resolution.
