The last time I played HoMM 3 (HD mod) was last December. I was playing the Restoration of Erathia campaigns, and I got to Long Live the King - a campaign unlocked only after first three campaigns are won. But now when I choose "new game", no campaigns are unlocked beyond the first three. I have savegames from the third scenario in Long Live the King. I have results from beating the first three campaigns on the High Score list. So it's not my memory playing tricks on me. I have finished those campaigns, and even started the next one. So why are the other campaigns locked again?

This is a common mistake made by players. In Heroes 3, starting the "new game" will always make the only first three campaigns available and counted as not being played at all. In order to unlock all campaigns properly, you need to choose "load game" each time after completing one campaign and load the last savegame. Only by doing this the campaign will be counted as completed.

Oh. What a weird design. I don't know how I never noticed it before. Maybe I did but I forgot. It's been a long time since I played Heroes 3 (before that last December that is), and anyway in the past I played mostly the single scenarios. Anyway, thanks for the quick answer (even if I feel like na noob now :D)
