Why are the Cheats not working in Heroes3 Complete?

The original cheats from HoMM 3 won't work on the Complete version. The ones that work on HoMM3 Complete are the "Matrix" ones. Give me one minute...

Here they are:

Hello, when i use nwcthereisnospoon i get the 999 spell points but not the 999 man.
What am i doing wrong?

User ZFR may have been a tad unclear; when they said mana, they meant spell points. Those are the same thing, but mana is quicker to type.

The "nwc" cheat codes for hmm3 have worked like a charm for the Chronicles. But when I got to Fiery Moon, they don't work. When I press TAB then nw I get a prompt that says "whisper to ???". The same thing happens in the Beastmaster Chronicles.

Can anyone help?
