Hey everyone! I am having a bit of a hard time installing Heroes of Might and Magic 3 - usually when I download a game, I just install it to the default folder - normally it's just a folder with the name of the game as a title. But when I started to download part 1 of 2 for Heroes of Might and Magic 3, the program wants to save it to my downloads folder. I have never downloaded a game in parts with GOG.com before, so I am a bit in the dark with this. Can someone please fill me in on how to install the two-part files as well as the 2-part patch? Any and all help is appreciated!! Thanks so much!!!

Google Chrome is stupid browser for ignoring the checkbox to ask for location option. And Chrome not the only one such browser today. Modern software is trash. Ch4ome and some else browsers allow to chose download location only for some filesm

x/Download/GOG/heroes_of_might_and_magic_3_complete_edition/ is fine location (this is default location for GOG Galaxy downloader and old GOG Downloder, including game folder slugID - here all files are stored together, setup or goodies, patches dlcs or lang packs - everything). Make sure all parts are in same folder, everything downloaded correctly - all files is named as bin and exe (and no .download/.tmp etc files). Check exe file digisign valid status. If its ok then exe file is correct. For bin validation when you set-up the setup there is checkbox to validate bin files before installation.

Start setup exe as admin. Chose x/Games/Game-name-123/ pa5h as install location, no program files, c drive, drives roots, spaces, no "_", no non-latin and non-standard symbols, no exsessive sub-folers. eg D/Games/Might-n-Magic-Heroes-3-Comp/.
Make first launch as admin. Second launch can be as non-admin, 6ou probably see the intro for the second time, but third launch goes without intro (possible to skip).

You must have UAC and VirtualStore enabled set to default state (admin launch notice should appear when you click RMB-Launch as Admin).
