I recently decided to replay all of the Heroes games, so far i have played through the first four games, but when i got to the fifth i noticed a problem. Whenever i start the game from desktop, or anywhere else for that matter, the game logo or rather poster, i do not really know what to call it, pops up with a dark screen and gets stuck like that forever.

I installed it, but it did not help. The game is stil stuck after i start it

The game is indeed fully patched and i tried running the expansions, but none of them worked. The poster pops up on both the expansions and gets stuck just like the main game

Did you reboot afterwards?

Also, which graphics card are you using? Could be a driver incompatibility (AMD is notorious for not caring about old games).
