Im looking for best of the best of maps ("balanced"?) like these, especially for Heroes 2.

Also interested in Heroes 3 maps, and especially random map templates that result similar...

Broken Alliance and Seven Lakes are unsurpassed. I would add Beltway to the list. And that's it :(

Pandemonium is very different, yet interesting because of the challenge. Same with that small map where each player begins with an army.

These are pretty good also:

Dominion
Lost Continent
Heroes
Full House

Very replayable and from different starting positions, balanced and interesting.

Surely there are more like them.

I find it hard to believe that no one could come up with maps as good, especially after all this time.

I played SW campaigns, then I played PoL campaigns, then I played Seven Lakes, Decisions, Heroes, Enroth, Lost Continent etc as well as some other not so famous maps, and now I play Tim Duncan's campaigns (players mention The Last Hope and Agent of Heaven, I'm currently on the former, and that's top stuff)
