I picked this up when it was on offer recently - and unfortunately I am rather regretting it.
The write-up of it sounded right up my street - mix of RPG and RTS with a 'captivating' storyline written by an actual novelist. Yeah, right...
From what I've seen so far (which admittedly is only the intro sequence and the build-up to the first mission) the writing is the most terrible generic fantasy bullshit dross I've ever come across. My friend and I were laughing continuously at it, and not in a good way...
I'm happy to persevere for now and see if it gets better (if I can tear myself away from Freedom Force vs The Third Reich, which I'm LOVING) but I don't hold high hopes.
Can anyone tell me if it does get any better???
