I find it interesting that even in HotK III chapter, when your character learn fishing, hunting, herbalism, alchemy, combat, smithing, and even cooking (this is thing I love most in the III chapter!).
Well, if I could suggest to improve that cooking part, I would keep the food as inventory items, e. g. goulash or fish soup as edible inventory items. I find a bit "frustrating" that a culinary masterpiece reduced to a generic "food in vacuum". Another argument for cooked food as edible items is that would give interesting opportunities for quests, as happened in other chapters..

And yet with all these monumental skills you able to master, you can't :

* smith a new pan or cauldron
* make a new bow or arrow
* brew a pint of beer.
* make a jewelry

I find it interesting that eventually you become completely dependent on some dude who single can do arrows and bows in the all country, or single woman who sells pans, cauldrons, or mortar & pestle.
It is interesting how "simple" can weaknesses and limits of "almighty" hero of this chapter can be.
