Afternoon everyone.

I'm having a few small issues that I wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing.

When I launch the game, it opens on my secondary monitor for some reason. I experience this with no other game.

Placing the game into windowed mode causes everything to lag terribly. We're talking, 5+ minutes from launch to main menu.

So far, I've dabbled with compatibility modes and such to no avail.

Cheers!

Same issue here. My "fix" was to simply disable my secondary monitor while I play the game. I couldn't find a way around the problem otherwise. In fact, it doesn't really care which monitor is set as my primary monitor at all, it just displays the game on whatever is listed as "Monitor 1". The only way to get my larger primary monitor (versus the laptop's built in monitor) to show up as Monitor 1 is to disable it.
I have the exact same problem with you. I did some research turn out windows 7 (problem exist on XP to 8 as well) automatic assign monitor numbers from 1 to xx based on cable. With highest priority being given to HDMI then DVI then VGA etc...

Because of how my monitors is setup I am limited to using DVI on my primary and HDMI on my secondary monitor. I am looking for an alternative to just "turn off" your secondary monitor.

I tried using windowed mode but that cause the game's application to lock up one of the CPU on my multi-core CPU and FPS crawl at one frame each 3 seconds (1/3 fps yes a fraction). It would be nice if somehow window mode could be spread over multi-core like in full screen mode and my problem would be solved by running in windowed mode on my primary (number 2) monitor.

This game hates multiple monitors. I have Windows 8.1. I tried many different things. Rather than disable my second monitor, I've taken to setting my displays to duplicate while playing this game. I found that to be easier to switch back after I stop playing.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for the tips, I thought something is wrong :)
Duplicate and one turned off works fine.
So sad this to seem a widespread issue. The game looked interesting but this issue is really quite the big deal for me at least.

If anyone finds a solution to make it play windowed please post it. I tried playing with CPU affinity but doesn't seem to do anything at all.
Hello, same problem for me. I have 2 dvi monitors, and it always launch on the second one !!!
If i use the windowed mode, it launchs on the 1st screen (but it's unplayable ; i don't care, it was just for testing).

To "gog.com" : please correct this, this is really annoying, and it's been almost 2 years that you've heard of this. Thank you.
