PartyWin.dll replacement method from KEXDOOM works for the current build 4577-c7e7b84-170 (84255) of KEXETIC as well. No further actions required. Not tested in multiplayer, though.

See the original post by majaso: https://www.gog.com/forum/doom_series/doom_12_2024_on_window_7/post9 and couple of the following for further details and recommendations.

Hello All,

Looking for the solution I have come across this post (different game, same DLL file):
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2970756437
I was able to launch unmodified doom_gog.exe when I replaced PartyWin.dll with DLL version for windows 7. I have taken it from here:
https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.PlayFab.PlayFabParty.Cpp.Windows/1.8.0
(1.8.0 is the last version in which I have found PartyWin7.dll).

1. Open link https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.PlayFab.PlayFabParty.Cpp.Windows/1.8.0 (make sure that on the list on the left highlightet version is 1.8.0, if not, then click on 1.8.0 to highlight it).
2. Click "Open in NuGet Package Explorer" on the right side (below "About").
3. In new popup, on "Content" panel go to "build / native / lib / x64 / release"
4. Doubleclick "PartyWin7.dll" to download it.
5. Copy or move downloaded "PartyWin7.dll" to "Doom + Doom II" directory and rename it to "PartyWin.dll" (replacing original one).
6. Doubleclick on "doom_gog.exe"
7. Enjoy!

Hope it helps and maybe it will be easier than editing EXE file for some.

Build 4577-c7e7b84-170-v2 (84255).
And there is no changelog...

PartyWin.dll replacement method still works.
