Played this as a kid in 1998., i think it was a demo like first 3 levels and loved it, especially the castle and the pool part.

I got GOG version now. I acquired the Bones of Loric but when i try to make the potion it says i didn't.

I went back to the mill to make sure i picked it up and then i looked in the log and yes i acquired em.

Anyone had this issue?

I believe that it's not the bones of Loric that the potion requires, but rather the bone dust of Loric. That is, if I understand you correctly, you should have one more step to take... ;)

i was referring to dust which is made and collected at the mill ;)

Just went back to older save and did the whole thing again, same.

Same thing happened with cracked version of Link The Unleashed Nexus

When i come to 3rd level up to the box which is supposed to turn blue, it never does
and it's impossible to progress. These cracked games are often just disfunctional.

Ah, my apologies--I missed the bit about the mill. Fair enough!

Well, it may indeed be an issue in the cracked game.

Having played the non-cracked game (albeit through a source port, as I'm playing under Linux), I haven't had that problem on either of my two recent-ish playthroughs, I believe, so at the least the (legitimate) GOG version seems to be fine in this respect.

Of course there is no issue on legitimate version, almost certainly cause it's bad, cracked version.
