So far, playing this game I've discovered a couple coins that become impossible to get. One is in Sohn District, when you are escorting the architect- there's a door he may choose not to open, in favor of a different one, making it impossible to ever access that room. Happily, I discovered that that particular coin can be grabbed right through the wall, as it's apparently right on the room's edge to one side of the door.

The other one, though, I'm having more trouble with- there's a coin in Ikari Walkways that becomes permanently inaccessible if you press a button to summon a tram (the tram covers it up and can't be taken away). Leaving aside the fact that this is the sort of abysmal game design that should require someone be taken out and shot, when I played through I discovered that that button came PRE-PRESSED. That is, even before I could get access to the area where the button was, the tram was already there, making the coin impossible to get from the very start. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there seriously nothing I can do except start a New Game Plus and hope it doesn't do it AGAIN (plus recollect all of the other coins I spent so much time on, since they apparently don't carry over)?

EDIT: Apparently it was a false alarm- adding up all my coins, it appears I have that one. However, it's still true that the button got pressed without me ever having access to that side of the gap, so apparently it gives you at least one chance to get the coin, then decides to summon the tram whether you pressed the button or not.

I know it's kinda late, but there's an enemy who press the button if you don't kill him fast enough. You need to kill the Artillery boss and reach the other side of the bridge in order to make a short work of him and grab the coin. As for the other one, you can just kill the architect and get his credentials at the observatory. Indeed, this will lockyou out of the true ending.
