I see videos of boss fights where the main strategy seems to be to dodge to the side to get behind the boss. But using a keyboard the "dodge" and the "roll" are mapped to the same key and my character can only roll or kite. How do I do that sudden jump-to-the-side-still-facing-the-same-direction move with keyboard and mouse? Is this game really only playable with a controller?
[Edit: I gave up trying to use the mousr & keyboard and switched to a controller. Turns out that locking on converts the forward roll into that jump aside.]

It's very playable on mouse/keyboard (after a time of adaptation of course, i'm still dreading all those platforms on the outdoor frozen arcology underside section when i tried to go for the aegis armor), i managed to complete the game once.

Lots and lots of dying though :D as i'm nowhere near great at this whole thing, but the atmosphere of the game and the design was so good that i kept trying again and again while grinding more points until i finally got to the ending toward a NG+

I don't have the DLC, but Hellpoint is really worth playing.
